The rest of the meal had limited seasoning but it was just as delicious! I really could’ve eaten my daughter’s meal with no problem. She got almost the same food except they swapped the corn for carrots. She did have some of the soup (which was fantastic) and then she got her special plate.īecause it was a special plate, Amelia’s meal came out first. The server quickly pointed out that the garlic bread also had soy so we quickly cut that out of Amelia’s dinner. As mentioned above, the regular meal comes with garlic bread, tomato soup, chicken, potato and corn. This may sound like a boring meal but I can assure you it was not. The very informed waiter quickly recommended what they call the “plain meal”. I pointed out that my daughter Amelia is allergic to tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and coconut. Before the start of the show, the waiter will come over and ask if there is anyone who is a vegetarian or who has food allergies. Medieval Times is very accommodating when it comes to food allergies or vegetarians. Don’t worry, you are provided with wipes before and after dinner.Īs you know, my daughter has food allergies so I always like to give insight into how locations deal with food allergies.

Why? Because that’s how they ate during medieval times! This attraction really wants to get you into the spirit and give you the full experience of the 11th century. At Medieval Times you eat with your hands. Wait….say what? Yes, you heard correctly, NO utensils. You will enjoy this meal, but not with utensils, my friend. The chicken was roasted to perfection, and the vegetables were a great compliment. The dinner meal consists of a large piece of chicken, potatoes, and corn on the cob. The appetizers include delicious warm garlic bread and tomato soup. Medieval Times has a menu, but it’s not one with options. Ok so now for the unique part of this dining experience. Sounds just like a regular restaurant, right. Then they ask if anyone has food allergies or is a vegetarian (more about that below).

Options are water, iced tea, soda, or lemonade. He or she will ask for what you’d like to drink. The server will come up to you and introduce him or herself. It’s almost like a regular restaurant…but remember I said “ALMOST” :). The title of this attraction is Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament so let’s discuss dinner first. Make sure to order prior to the show! Here’s are a couple of fun options:
